VALOR Intercultural Communications, Inc., founded in 2001, is a consulting firm that provides cultural proficiency and diversity training, conflict resolution, difficult dialogues, as well as, social marketing research with particular emphasis on the Hispanic/Latino populations. VALOR has a network of established and reputable professionals with over 25 years of experience that can provide tailored technical assistance in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of cultural proficiency and diversity initiatives and programs for agencies, organizations and individuals with specific expertise in health/human/social services.

All technical assistance provided by VALOR is tailored based on needs assessments using diverse assessment tools; including the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a research based self administered 50 statement questionnaire that measures persons sensitivity to difference based on one’s world view. VALOR is a certified administrator and interpreter of the IDI (2001).
